Academics
The Cumberland Initiative is a self-funded group of academics with expertise in simulation, modelling and systems thinking. We have proven track records as scholars who are committed to connecting our scholarship and research in a practical and pragmatic way to the world around us.
We include several Directors of the Innovative Manufacturing Research Centres (IMRCs) – funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) – and include other major grant holders. Others have a long track record of working with the Department of Health.
